Soak in the freestanding cast iron bathtub on the veranda of Little Red Barn or relax in the heated concrete swimming pool overlooking beautiful countryside. The verandah is a relaxing spot to enjoy the view. This idyllic home features a soaring vaulted wooden ceiling creating a feeling of space. Cosy in winter with a wood burning fireplace and cool in summer with AC and natural cross breezes.
The space
Warm in the winter with a very effective wood burning fireplace and surprisingly cool in the summer with natural cross ventilation (and air conditioning throughout for those really hot days).
The master bedroom with king sized bed opens up to an ensuite which extends onto the verandah complete with a freestanding cast iron bathtub. There’s another bedroom on the ground floor level with a queen sized bed and upstairs in the loft is a spacious 3rd bedroom with a queen sized bed. The landing at the top of the stairs has a nook with a double bed sized sofa bed.
We happily accept one small to medium, well behaved dog, subject to accepting our pet rules. Please advise at time of booking!
You won't want to leave this cosy home!
Please Note: For safety purposes, open fires in the outdoor fire pits are not permitted between the months of November and March.
Guest access
The entire property is exclusively yours.
Other things to note
Although we are set on acreage, this is not a farm or secluded rural estate. You will still hear cars driving by at peak times and if you are looking for complete tranquility away from civilisation - then this is not the place for you.
We also have a dam on the property which our guests must confirm they are aware of prior to booking as small children must be supervised.
This is a rural property on tank water - power outages in this area are not uncommon during bad weather due to fallen power lines. Electricity and water supply can be affected, which is beyond our control.
Linen, bath and pool towels are provided. The property will be professionally cleaned. The towels and bed linen are professionally laundered, and consumables like salt and pepper, cleaning products, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are all provided. Please bring your own Nespresso coffee pods (compatible capsules are easily available at supermarkets).
Guests must comply with the Local Council code of conduct, and the general house rules.
Pet friendly - We are happy to welcome one small to medium sized dog per booking, we have a $50 pet fee per stay - please ask before booking.
