I would strongly recommend this property to anyone. We had a superb three night stay at Historic Scotts Hut in late winter 2014. The hut was warm, welcoming, beautifully furnished, clean and well provisioned. The grounds were equally well kept and manicured. The immediate surrounds are very relaxing and interesting and the location excellent for coast and mountain access. Finally, our dog was most made most welcome. Scott (Sydney) August 2014
We would recommend this property to anyone. It's hard to find good quality accommodation that allows pets, especially when you have two 25 plus kilo dogs. Usually when accommodation ads state that dogs are welcome they are referring to little lap dogs. When we found Scotts Hut online the pictures and description seemed too good to be true however in reality they didn't do it justice. We would recommend this property to anyone, it really is a home away from home. Many thanks for your kindness and hospitality! July 2014
I very much enjoyed my stay and only wish it could have been for longer. I would rate the accommodation 5/5. The perfect country location. I will definately be returning and bringing the rest of the family. I have recommended Scotts Hut to everyone that I have told about my weekend in the Bega Valley. Being able to take my dog was wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I'm sure it will not be long before we return. June 2014
Scotts Hut is a wonderful place to just lose yourself in peace and quiet and gorgeous Australian bushland. To laze about on the veranda (perhaps in the hammock), and just listen to the bell birds and kookaburras, was just so relaxing. We had a fabulous time, the puppies frolicked all around the property and just exhausted themselves each day, and the house has all the comforts of home (inc. a well kitted out kitchen and cable tv).Thank you Cassandra for the welcoming touches, and we look forward to visiting again.
