For an authentic Alaskan experience come stay in our Little Cabin located 15 miles outside of Nome. Perfect for adventurous families or folks looking to get off the beaten path. Thousands of acres of mountains, rivers and tundra are literally outside your door. Access to the Nome River is but a 5-min walk down our dirt road. A drive further up the road takes you to Pilgrim Hot Springs. Stay with us and bike, hike, fly, snowmachine, ski, float, run or kayak in this still-wild part of America.

The space
You will need a vehicle to get to our location. The Little Cabin has a double in the loft and a single downstairs, if needed we can produce a cot or extra single mattress. Dry cabin has electricity and an abundance of good well water available for use. We all get to share an outhouse for toilet facilities. Like we said, authentic! The cabin is private and cozy and uses a beautiful cast iron oil burning stove for heat. In the summer you can drive right up to the cabin to park but in the winter we snowmachine or walk down the trail from the main road (our neighborhood road is not plowed). We can help you get your luggage to and from the cabin. Please let us know how we can help make your stay complete.

My husband, young daughter and I live just outside of Nome, Alaska in a cabin in a really neat neighborhood. We enjoying flying our bush plane, hunting, fishing camping, snowboarding, and checking out everything on the Seward Peninsula where we live. All of us are born and raised Alaskans and we love showing visitors our unique way of life.
