Spacious open plan self-contained accommodation for a single or a couple with all the comforts of home in our renovated "Red Rattler" train carriage located on our fifth-generation family farm 22 kms west of Temora and 14 kms east of the historic village of Ariah Park. Tariff includes a generous continental breakfast hamper. The perfect rural retreat for your getaway....stay a while and explore the Riverina or take a peaceful one-night break on a long distance journey

The space
Furnishings include a billiard table, flat screen TV and DVDs, CDs, magazines and board games are provided. A decking with outdoor furniture overlooks the water garden and rural surrounds. Gas weber BBQ provided outside the carriage.

We have been finalists and a winner in the Inland Tourism Awards since commencing business and enjoy being a part of tourism in the Temora Shire and the wider Riverina. We have retained much of the signage, gauges and brake wheel together with the maps of the route the City Circle took when it was on the railway tracks.

Guest access
The carriage is 19 metres in length and has a separate kitchen area and a dining area.
Kitchen appliances include bar fridge, microwave, electric skillet, electric frypan, toaster and electric jug. The living area contains a 3/4 size billiard table and a two seater leather lounge for watching television. The bathroom is full size with a shower, toilet and vanity and leads into the bedroom.

Other things to note
We operate a working mixed farming property running cattle and sheep and grow cereal crops. We also stand a stallion at stud breeding horses for showjumping and dressage.
We have two young working sheepdogs and an older semi-retired sheep dog.

We are located 22 kms west of Temora, home to the renowned Temora Aviation Museum, the Bundawarrah Centre (home of Temora's Heritage Collections) and Lake Centenary where the Jet Boats "fly". The 1920s heritage village of Ariah Park is 14 kms to the west and we are one of the "hidden gems" along the Canola Trail which takes visitors through the shires of Coolamon, Junee and Temora. We are centrally located as a base to explore the Riverina, being around an hours drive from Wagga Wagga and 1.5 hours from Griffith with many interesting country towns along the way.
