LOCAL HOST!
I've created extensive guides to the area and I'm easily reachable for questions to help you make the most of your time in Portland.

BIKE PORTLAND!
I'm a bike enthusiast and would love to help you explore Portland by bike with cultural suggestions, bike assistance and route planning.

EXCLUSIVE INSIDER TOUR GUIDES
My personal "Best of Portland" guide (which is in the bedroom) is an insider's peak into my fave restaurants, most of which are accessible by bike, including the hidden gems you wouldn't find otherwise. I've lived here 16 happy years and have accumulated a resource library of cool ideas, places to visit, what to eat and how to spend your days and nights making the most of this fantastic city.

IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD
Just blocks away:
Stumptown coffee, pizza, locally brewed beer (Breakside), upscale restaurant, wine and meade bar, non-profit bar (for real!), tamales, gelato, market, BBQ, dive bar, deli and more.

Friendly neighbors, a sprawling park.

A very safe, welcoming neighborhood.

FANTASTIC LOCATION
15 minutes from the airport - very convenient and easy to get there.

Bikes available (please confirm if you'd like to use them so they can be in good working order)

2 blocks to a main bus line that runs every 15 minutes to Alberta Arts District and Downtown.

.5 miles to two other bus lines.

Ample safe on-street car parking

Dog friendly - well behaved dogs who do not get on the furniture are welcome.

I have two outdoor only cats who never come inside. They will keep their distance from you unless you don't want them to.

A NATURAL SPACE
I do not have a TV. There's too much going on in PDX - who has time for TV? Plus, isn't that what computers and a fast internet connection are for :)

BIKES - Please confirm availability
#1 - Good for someone 5'0"-5'10" (step through frame)
#2 - Good for someone 5'0"-5'6" (upright vintage frame - super cute)
#3 - Good for someone 5'0"-5'6" (upright vintage frame - super cute)
All three are around town cruisers with ample gears, lock, lights and helmets.

I SUPPORT REFUGEES AND ALL KIND PEOPLE
I participate in the Airbnb Open Homes program to offer my space to refugees in need of housing when my home is not otherwise booked. When you book with me, you are supporting my ability to open my my home to people going through crisis.

I am welcoming and supportive of diverse lifestyles. You are welcome here.

Guest access
Full access to the home.

If you are here for an extended stay, welcome! I may come by OUTDOOR ONLY to tend the yard and animals or gather supplies from the garage, but I will always notify you and I will be in and out quickly.

Other things to note
Dogs are most welcome here! I charge a one-time fee of $25 per dog. Please let me know if you plan to bring your fuzzy companions. I will add on the fee after your booking.

Portland is a very dog-friendly town with many establishments that allow you to bring in your furry friends.

Other pets will be considered, but cats are not allowed.

Thank you!

I love exploring every nook and cranny of Oregon and accumulating interesting regional facts and lore. I also love to travel, adventure, meet people and eat regional foods - the more authentic the better! I have always wanted to run a travel lodge and my Airbnb home is a way to share my love of Portland with guests - to help them see the real Portland from a local's perspective. I am quiet and respectful; I will definitely stay out of your way - but I'm always reachable if you have questions or just want to chat over tea/wine/bourbon/craft beer/coffee. I am also the Founder and Festival Director of Filmed by Bike, a film festival featuring events and the best bike movies from around the world. I love riding my bike, I helped found much of Portland's bike culture. Touring a region by bike is my favorite ways to explore, experience, sink in... and escape.
