This is the most wonderful cosy get away when it is just the two of you and it is perfect for couples or a small family. We have a separate king bedroom and full bathroom.
We also have a tri bunk room that is suitable for 2 children or another couple if they are happy with the tri bunk set up.
Lounge, full kitchen and dining comfortably work.
Our Alfresco screen room with BBQ is perfect for relaxing in the warmer months.
Close to all the action summer and winter this is perfect rural getaway.

The space
A full kitchen with combined lounge dining completes the picture. This space is much larger than your usual 1 bedroom or studio Retreat and is very comfortable.
We have a great out door room with a Weber BBQ and a table setting which is put to good use in both summer and winter. Afternoon drinks as the sun sets day is something special and not to be missed. We usually have a wildlife parade of kangaroos with baby joeys on the front lawn a real treat and something to enjoy.
In the kitchen we provide all the staples such as olive oil, herbs & spices for cooking, pepper, salt, paper towels, serviettes, baking paper, cling film and foil.
We have a Caffitaly pod espresso machine for coffee lovers. We provide pods and also teas.
We want to make your getaway as easy and enjoyable as possible without you having to bring everyday essentials.
Just bring the food and wine you need and everything else is here ready for you to kick back and enjoy !
This is great for a couple or a small family...but is not suitable for big groups or extended families

Please note

This is part of a dual key option

We have our Residence which is used by extended families . There are separate entrances and no shared spaces. The interconnecting door is locked.

We point this out as not everyone is comfortable with a dual key option. It will mean that you may hear or be aware of other guests in the Residence and of course we ask guests of both the Retreat and the Residence to be respectful and considerate with any loud or late noise.

It is not always booked at the same time but we do like to let our guests know before they book.

Please consider this is you are looking for a getaway that is completely your own. We want all our guess to enjoy their time with us.

We are located on a 5 acre bush block approximately a 20 minute drive from Jindabyne township...our neighbours are the Wild Brumby Schnapps Distillery which is a must do and Crackenback Farm Cottage Restaurant which is wonderful place for lunch or dinner

This is me standing on the top of Mt. Kosciusko watching the sunrise.

This is an experience not to be missed if you are visiting outside of winter .... it was super special effort for me as I am not an early morning person but it was so worth it!

After living and working in Sydney we have returned the Snowy Mountains to live and pursue other business opportunities.

We love the quiet country location of Andrea's White House and all the summer and winter activities on offer.

Still working of course but now also enjoying the rural scene.

We live on site but in separate accommodation which is great as it allows us to meet our guests and put a face to a name.

One of the things I enjoy the most is helping people to get to know the Snowy Mountains, there is a lot to explore and experience in all seasons.
