We had a great time there. Our hosts were friendly & generous. The location is convenient (it's near wineries, Stanthorpe & Girraween National Park), it possesses views of their vineyard and nearby hills, and it is very peaceful. The accomodation has all that you need for a pleasant stay. Do try their wines as you will not be disappointed. I suggest you do a bicycle tour and a tour of the local wineries using Filipo's.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay with Dave and Angela, the house has everything you need, it is comfortable, warm, clean and a fantastic spot to base yourself for exploring the area by bike or car. The only thing we wish we could have had was another night with our hosts drinking their Bloody Good Red and opening up the vocal chords by the fire. Will absolutely recommend this as a play for friends to come and stay in the future, and we will be back!

David ensured the hot water instructions worked and welcomed us to his winery precinct. The ukulele connection was a bonus.

For a wonderful few days filled with great food, wine and bushwalking, David and Angela's lovely cabin is a perfect home for a long weekend. With a BBQ on the verandah, an excellent hot shower and very comfortable warm bed in close proximity to Girraween National Park we had a fabulous time. Thank you!

We had a perfect stay at David and Angela's cabin. It was a great base to explore Girraween National Park and they have great recommendations for places to see/ eat/ explore around Stanthorpe. They were very welcoming hosts and the winery was lovely and scenic. The cabin was warm and clean and has all necessary amenities. Highly recommend - we'll be back (especially to see Merlo!)

Hi as a host of this property , We welcome guests from all over the world .
We love our country property and love to share the experience of a small vineyard with visitors. We are hardworkers who also enjoy good times with our country neighbours and friends. Our dog Merlot is a German Shepard and looks big, but is playful and friendly. We share our rustic cottage with our guests and enjoy sitting around with our signature wine Bloody Good Red and sharing stories of great times.
