Welcome to Waterloo, a beautiful self-contained studio in the heart of Richmond. This cozy studio is designed by award-winning Melbourne architects O'Connor and Houle, renown for their redevelopment of the Heide Museum of Modern Art and the original Aesop headquarters in Carlton.

The space
A self-contained appointed 1 bed studio in Richmond including bathroom ensuite and kitchenette. It has been purposely designed to make you feel relaxed and at home the moment you arrive into the beautifully furnished open-plan living. Inspired by Scandinavian and contemporary Japanese architecture, it features high-sloped ceilings with exposed beams which allude to a sense of space whilst large screened-windows and skylights create a light-drenched atmosphere.

The apartment includes:

+ Queen bed and ensuite bathroom
+ Gallery kitchenette with toaster, microwave and kettle (no gas stove)
+ Mini-fridge
+ Central heating + cooling
+ Shower with complementary all natural body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and lotion, plus fluffy towels and a hairdryer to help you dry off quickly
+ Combined washing machine and dryer
+ Wardrobe with heaps of storage to comfortably store belongings or suitcases out of the way

The studio sits above a garage at the rear of a residential property. There is a separate entrance to the studio via the rear lane, separate from the rest of the house for privacy. Note that there is no access to the garage.

Located in the leafy area of Richmond, this property is only minutes away from the Melbourne sports precinct, or hop on a tram from Bridge Road and you will be in the CBD in 10 minutes.

Guest access
Access is via a keypad. Detailed instructions will be provided before your arrival, allowing you to check yourself in. Entrance is via the rear lane through a separate studio door. There is no shared amenities in apartment, the entire space is all yours to enjoy.

Other things to note
The property is cleaned by the owner between each guest stay in accordance with COVID-19 cleaning guidelines ensuring a high standard of cleanliness each time. We ask that you respect the neighbours during your stay and be mindful of noise levels, especially at night. It would be much appreciated for shoes to be taken off inside.
