An adult retreat, this peaceful garden room, with private en-suite, has a small fridge & tea making facilities.
The configuration can be 1 King size bed, or 2 king single beds.
There are bug screens on the windows & the door, beautifully tiled floors, highest quality bed linen & fluffy towels. Pretty views of flowers & trees through the cute old timber-framed windows, overall, a super calming vibe, your own private entrance, and footsteps away from the beautiful pool & outdoor lounge area.

The space
Perfect for those looking for a little rest from the fast flicker of life, a little country living, & perhaps a little adventure - explore beautiful local drives, bushwalks, waterfalls, waterholes, beaches, & all within a 30 min drive or less!
Fab fresh local produce whether you're enjoying the markets, cafés or restaurants, with excellent shopping, launch your curiosity north, south east or west. Or perhaps a retreat from the world is more fitting, with a restful lounge on the hammock reading an ancient wisdom tome, or writing your memoirs.
There truly is an abundance of paradise to share with you from this blessed place.

I live in the upstairs part of the house, your room & en-suite are a separate dwelling under the main house, so you have your own private entry without needing to come through the house, you will have your own key.

The space is designed as an adult retreat, and for this reason, not suitable for children. The room provides a king size bed or two king singles, according to your booking preference.

There is a large garden, and if you don't feel like venturing out to experience the local beaches, hikes, cafés and shops, you might like to lounge by the pool, where you can sun-bathe and chill out, read, listen to music etc.
I have quite a collection of books which you are welcome to borrow and take to your room or the pool if you like to read.

I facilitate Yoga and Meditation, and hold regular practices at the property, to which you will be welcome to enrol if your trip coincides with our schedule, and/or I can provide some private practices if you so wish.
In fact, you may like me to put together a short retreat package, I have the accommodation space of two queen bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as this room and ensuite, and another large 3 - 4 person bedroom with en-suite, so if you'd like to come on retreat with friends, just contact me & I can let you know the various offerings and tailor them to your needs.

Guest access
This listing is for use of the private bedroom and en-suite, with use of the pool and outdoor pool lounge area and garden. There is car parking on site, in fact there are two entrances, and I will give you directions to the guest entrance after your booking is confirmed.

Other things to note
There may be a gardener working outside.

The village itself has a great café, serving breakfast and lunch 7 days, with really great AllPress coffee, various milk options, smoothies, chai & even their own home-brewed Kombucha.
They also offer vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options for brekkie and lunch, including cakes with sugar-free etc etc etc options. Quite the progressive place is our lil village!
It's such a charming set up, and it's the hub of the village, as there is also housed the General Store, the Post Office, and the bottle shop and cellar door for their Jilly Wine Co. wines.

On Thursday evenings, a truck rolls in with a wood-fired stove in the back, and the villagers show up in their scores for damn good pizza on a 100 year old organic sourdough base, with a bottle of something fabulous from the bottle shop, the carnival lights go on, and the atmosphere is magic!

On other nights during the week you can catch the Shoza Gyoza stall - local pork and vegetarian dumplings. Every now and then there are pop up restaurants offering lovely dinners and drinks, all within a 5 minute walk away!!

There's also a hairdresser, a petrol station, an organic vegetable shop & nursery, a butcher, a country clothing and wares store and a very charming second hand book store.

The genial General Store offers everything from chips n chocolate, to coconut water and organic fruit and veggies, to tinned foods and crackers to fresh baked 'Bread Social' sourdough loaves and organic ice-cream! They also stock a range of local cheeses, olives dips - great for picnics and snacks. It's really got range!

The property is approximately:
13 min to Bangalow, 15 mins to Lismore, 25 mins to Byron Bay, 25 mins to Minyon Falls, 20 mins to Crystal Castle, 60 mins to Mount Warning, 20 mins to Gaia Resort, 20 minutes to Seven Gold Course, 10 minutes to Pegasus horse riding stables, 13 mins to Federal, 35 mins to the Tea Tree Lakes (Lake Ainsworth), 30 mins to Ballina Airport, 60 mins to Gold Coast Airport.

Hey! I am a home lover, I like making my home a place of comfort and like hanging out there as much as I can! I'm an early to bed, early to rise type, I facilitate yoga and meditation and am interested in matters related to health, food and wellbeing. I love music, drama and creativity in all formats, and books. My home is my haven. When I'm not darting around from job to job, you'll find me at home cooking and listening to music, or studying, or maybe trying to make something there look prettier! I'm Irish, and have been fortunate enough to have travelled to many places around the world, still a few I'd like to see, but have settled for the northern NSW hinterland and am pretty happy to call this beautiful place home!
