Perfect location for mountain getaway and all things outdoors. Beautiful, Updated Mountain cabin next to Lake Granby, Stunning views all year long. Central Grand County location - 6 miles to Grand Lake & Rocky Mtn National Park. Easy Lake Access for winter and summertime fun. Snowmobile, ice fish, and snow shoe in the winter, while you can boat, kayak or hike in the summer. Parking onsite for your toys. Come enjoy our mountain oasis.

The space
This is a true, Swedish Coped, Log Cabin, not a manufactured knockoff. The home was built as the model home by a local Log Home builder in 1986. His unique style is obvious in many homes around the Granby/Grand lake area. The builder lived in the home with his family for a number of years before selling to the former owner who made many happy memories with their family until 2017 when we purchased the home. The cabin was “Well Loved” when we purchased it, and we have invested months into restoring it to better than new condition. It is our Happy Place now and our base for winter and summer fun in the Colorado Rockies. The cabin is wonderfully appointed and comfortable, but the view is absolutely stunning. We have an unobstructed view of Lake Granby and “Reclining Lincoln” peak (Look closely at the profile picture in the listing and you will see Abraham Lincoln looking skyward) from our front deck. The access to recreation is unmatched: walk across the road to the lake, drive a short distance to several ski areas, access Rocky Mountain National Park (6 miles away) or just relax on the deck and watch the sailboats go by.

We look forward to welcoming you to our home for your perfect family vacation, holiday or quick weekend getaway!

Guest access
You will have access to the entire home except for the garage and a couple of other areas that are off limits to guests. These areas are small and are just for keeping our stuff for when we visit. The cabin is on 3/4 acre of land. In summer, Lake Granby does visit a small corner of our land.

Other things to note
Trail ridge road (in front of the cabin) can be busy on holiday weekends in the summer, but we find we don’t notice the cars much anymore. Trail ridge road is closed through rocky mountain national park for the winter so access to the house from anywhere else is through the nearby town of Granby.

Teri and I are Colorado Natives who love the outdoors. We are Avid skiers but we also like spend time at the ocean scuba diving, snorkeling or just hanging out at the beach. We love the Air BnB community and try to use the platform as much as possible. We are hosts with our own cabin in the Colorado Rockies.
