Neighbourhood highlights

We are situated on acreage next to bushland with a 15 min tree lined walk to a lookout. If you want to go for a swim Lawson pool is a 5 minute drive away and open during the summer months. Lawson is approximately an 8 min drive away. It has a supermarket along with many other shops. Being a close driving distance to tourist villages/towns we are lucky enough to enjoy a variety of restaurants, bush walks and major tourist attractions.

*Lawson*: 8 min drive away: Explore the famous Lawson Waterfall Circuit (from Honour Ave) one of the best walks in the mountains and taste the sweet delights at the Rust and Timber Chocolate Shop in the village. Many eating/cafe places to choose from e.g. Thai, Pizza, Chinese, Lawson Pub Restaurant, and it also has a bakery.

*Wentworth Falls*: 8 mins drive. Visit the stunning 3 tiered waterfall, bushwalk, eat at the cafes, picnic at the stunning lake and enjoy browsing the shops. In the mood for a pie visit the best at Mountain Pie Shop on the highway.

*Leura*: Approximately 10 min drive. Full of interesting things to see and do, including Everglades Historic House and Gardens (where I held 2 successful solo art shows in the past). Visit the Toy and Railway Museum, Bygone Beauties, or browse the many shops full of arts, crafts and tasty treats. Recommend eating at The Bunker with its stunning views and great food.

*Katoomba*: 15 mins-20: Visit Echo Point and see the famous Three Sisters standing proud amongst sweeping views. Ride the steep railway and cable car at Scenic world and walk the boardwalk. Visit the historical Carrington hotel and enjoy a meal. Catch a movie at the United Cinemas (The Edge) that also includes a large IMAX style screen.

My work: Professional Artist
I spend too much time: Art, Movies, Dining out
I live with my husband John in the beautiful Blue Mountains of Australia. Living on a large property one of our passions is gardening. In 2008 I discovered a love of art and enjoy painting my surroundings and all things nature. I now sell online, at exhibitions and from my own studio/gallery. Other interests that we both enjoy are going to the movies, eating out, and socialising with our dear family and friends. We are blessed to be living in such a beautiful part of the world and want to share it with others. We invite you to come and enjoy our stunning surroundings, connect with nature and relax.
