Immerse yourself in Art! Be surrounded and inspired by Indigenous fine art in this new modern contemporary architect design purpose built studio within walking distance to Fremantle, the beach, great cafes and restaurants. Love the lifestyle!

A light and spacious studio showcasing Indigenous fine art from remote Australia - the next best thing to staying in your own art gallery. At approx. 40sq metres. plus your outdoor patio area, there is plenty of room to move about. Perfect for 1-2 people

You have your own access and patio area, and you can use our BBQ by arrangement. Your paved patio area joins ours, however you have your own outdoor setting, and we share a clothes line.

Our house is close to your studio, however privacy is assured . The double glass entry doors have a blind for evening privacy. We live and work at home, so mostly will be close by. We love travelling and travellers so friendliness is assured.

We live in a great community minded neighbourhood - people live here because they love it! We look after each other and as much as we love hearing people enjoying themselves, noise limits are at all times considered.

Public transport abounds - you can take a free CAT bus which operates every 10 minutes to take you into Fremantle and special spots close by including to the Fremantle train station. Timetables are provided.

We have on street parking (free) or if necessary by arrangement driveway parking.

Ask for how to get here from airport or your entry location prior to arrival

We enjoyed our stay with Anna and Arthur. They are lovely hosts, and the apartment was very nice. We really enjoyed the art work - colourful and interesting. See you again next time.

A marvelous stay with Anna & Arthur with an immersion into Aboriginal Art surrounded by paintings & sculptures. Our unit was spacious and bathed in light. A bottle of local wine was a welcome gift, great bathroom amenities and tea & coffee making provisions. Our hosts made us aware of local eateries and things to see. There is a free bus within walking distance and 2 supermarkets close by. Parking is available. The unit has a kitchette with modern appliances and spotlessly clean. There is a TV, dvd including some discs, and wifi. There are also maps and other tourism brochures for planning how to spend your time but dont forget the Shipwreck Gallery which is a must see. Overall a wonderful experience with great hosts and highly recommended.

A lovely space for a few days of leisure. The studio was extremely clean and very comfortable with all necessary amenities. The artwork in our apartment was a highlight of our stay and Anna and Arthur contributed a great deal of information regarding origins and styles. They also turned out to be very knowledgeable with respect to local sights and events as well as being extremely friendly and helpful in every instance. Close to downtown Fremantle yet set in a lovely suburban area near trendy shops and restaurants we really enjoyed walking around the charming and historic streets. We can thoroughly recommend ARTstay as an ideal "home-away-from-home"

Always a pleasure working with Anna and Arthur! If you're visiting from a remote area or Aboriginal community, you will find hosts here that enjoy sharing their time with you! Anna and Arthur are very accommodating and are happy to help you out with connecting to other parts of Fremantle or Perth, if you're down here for Art Business!

My in laws stayed in Anna and Arthur's lovely accommodation but were arriving late, so Anna let me pick up the keys early and gave me a rundown on where everything was. The flat was spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything they needed. It was light and airy and had wonderful artworks. My in laws liked that it was so conveniently located near shops, cafes, the free cat bus, the beach, their grandchildren (!) and Fremantle. They are very keen to return. Anna & Arthur were great hosts, welcoming but not intrusive. Wonderful.

We love living in South Fremantle and the lifestyle that comes with it. Beach, coffee, cycling, walking and a great community spirit topped with working from home in which our private Australian Indigenous Art Gallery is based. We are great lovers of art and design, and want to share a slice of that lifestyle with international and interstate travellers who love the same things. Our purposeful and brand new architecturally designed studio has been built for guest/s to immerse themselves in Australia's first people's culture and art, so that you, like us, wake up every morning with the beauty of contemporary art which is steeped in ancestral history and tradition.

We are 5 minutes walk from the beach, 10minutes walk from central Fremantle, live in the best street surrounded by historic stone cottages, mixed with a blend of the old (neighbourhood buildings) and the new - our gorgeous new studio which we love! Cafe's abound just minutes away, and we love meeting people and telling them about our town and what there is to see and do.

Your studio is totally self contained with its own little outdoor patio. We respect privacy, but as travellers ourselves, love meeting like minded people and sharing stories!

We believe life is for living, learning and enjoying respectfully all cultures - and we love our food and coffee!

We have named our beautiful new studio Artitja ArtSTAY - to reflect our passion for what we do and the experience we would like you to have.
