Quaint Historical 100 year old Adobe home in Polvadera, located across from "The Pokey" Old Horse San Lorenzo Gallery. One of three houses nestled together in this sleepy little town. Located 10 mins from Socorro, near restaurants, a brewery and the Institute of Mines. We are 20-30 minutes from the Bosque del Apache and Ladd S. Gordon Waterfowl complex. Horse back riding and excursions into the high dessert, to San Lorenzo Canyon, and to see old mines or Petroglyphs, can be arranged w/notice.

The space
The adobe house is two levels and has an abundance of natural light. The stone wall from the street allows for privacy. The main floor consists of a living and dining area, kitchen, bathroom and a master bedroom with bath. The upstairs has a private bedroom with two full beds and a shared space with two full beds. There is a full upstairs bathroom toilet and shower.
The house is newly renovated, and remodeled, yet has retained it's old adobe charm. We are adding features and photo will be updated soon. There is ample parking in front and there is a side courtyard.

Polvadera, New Mexico, United States

We are located in New Mexico’s Rio Grande Valley in Socorro county, only 1 hour south of Albuquerque. The property is nestled in the lush farmlands watered by ancient irrigation ditches. There is abundant wildlife habitat associated with the farmlands. Visit the nearby Bosque del Apache or Ladd S Gordon wildlife preserve to view bountiful wildlife including eagles, several types of raptors, elk, bobcat, cranes, snow geese and much more. The valley is surrounded by desert mesas, semi-arid rangelands, and 10,000 ft mountains marking for spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
This is one of five original adobe properties in the restored quiet village of Polvadera. This quaint vacation rental property features a small sun room, living /dining area with the original wood floors and modern kitchen. On the bottom floor is a master bedroom with a king bed and master bath. There is also a community bathroom and shower on the first floor.
There is a walled private front porch and a shared open area to relax in during the warmer months.
