The space
Stringent cleaning processes in place due to Covid 19. 24 hours between guests, surfaces cleaned and disinfected and hand sanitiser available for guest use.

Our place is perfect for couples, business trips, solo travelers, the beach fisherman, the artist, the writer and basically anyone that needs to get away from it all and breathe in the fresh salt air. It is an older style basic cosy cabin, comfortably furnished on a large coastal private block. Bathroom is small and functional with a Shower over 3/4 bath, vanity, toilet and washing machine. Separate small bedroom with a very comfy double bed and built in wardrobes. Kitchen is well equipped and has a small electric stove with two hotplates and oven. Undercover parking is available with room for a boat or van. Large deck with nearly 180 degree views of the Bass Strait. Lots of hidden shady spots with seats to relax in and enjoy nature or read a book. A selection of novels and activities provided inclusive of sketch pad / adult colouring books etc. If you start reading a book and want to take it with you please do, leave an old one in its place if you wish. Just a reminder there is no WiFi available at this property.

Guest access
Guests have full exclusive access to the property and gardens with a path that leads to the secluded rocky beach.

Other things to note
There is no shops at Leith, you will need to travel to Ulverstone (10 km) or Devonport (12 km) to do major shopping. There is also the Forth Village Store/ Bottle shop and Service Station only 6.2 km away. Corbs Servo and takeaway at Turners Beach also stock essential items and is 4.6 km. Care must be taken when turning right onto the Bass Highway, a known black spot.

Leith, Tasmania, Australia

The neighbourhood is very quite, except for the sounds of crashing waves and birds, you may hear the occasional lawn mower or the distant rumblings of a train. The Berry Patch and La Mar Providore are only 4 km away for a great coffee and amazing food. The Bridge Hotel in Forth is also only 4.6 km away for an old fashion Counter Meal.
