All wheel drive is necessary to reach the rock house, and we highly recommend building a few nights here into your plans. The rock house has been carved out of the Navajo Sandstone with dynamite, and settled in spring-fed Deer Creek Canyon on 40 acres of Cottonwood lined ranch land. Secluded by a natural mote, located inside the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, this is an environment of stunning beauty with expansive slickrock views.

This was by far one of the coolest homes I've ever stayed in. Grant, Patrick and Grace were super helpful and wonderful to meet. We would definitely stay again! Thank you, Bob and Gina

The pictures don't do the place justice. Animals everywhere, in the out-back about as far as you can want, unparalleled star gazing, quiet as anyone can ask. Grant is a great host, very interesting guy to have a beer with. Only gripe is we could only stay one night.
