This beautiful cottage beside the river, huge bedroom upstairs with four-poster bed. Small kitchen, shower and dining area downstairs. Your own fire pit with river views, and well away from the main house. River access, for kayaking or fishing, or just sitting and relaxing. 3 kms from the award winning Spirit House Restaurant, a perfect stay if you are attending The Spirit House cooking school, or enjoying dinner there. We are also 1.5km from the Rocks restaurant.

The space
A private two story cottage on the Maroochy river, with river and Mount Ninderry views. The cottage is away from the main house, maintaining privacy. There is a fire pit with plenty of wood for a camp fire. Continental breakfast is included. The kitchen has a microwave, sandwich press/grill and toaster. All linen, towels and toiletries are provided.
There is a comfortable sofa in the lounge area downstairs, and dining table. The upstairs bedroom has a four poster bed, desk, chair, radio, TV and fan. The views of the river and mountain are stunning.
Check out is by 11am, however if you wish to leave later this is generally OK, just let us know.

Are you a single person looking for temporary accommodation whilst you work locally for a week or so? If so, Message me for a discounted price.

We also offer a monthly artist in residence program, the cottage is used for a week or a weekend by a chosen artist as an intensive creative work space. The artist uses the space to create, give classes, display and sell their art.

We are 2 km from the town of Yandina, a thriving town with coffee shops, excellent breakfast options, an IGA, Thai and Indian restaurants, a bottle shop and a huge, busy Saturday market. The Yandina Hotel is in Yandina. A Belgium Bar has recently opened in Yandina, specialising in Belgium beer and mussels, open Friday - Sunday, extremely delicious and popular.
The world famous Spirit House restaurant and cooking school is 2 minutes drive, as is the Ginger Factory and Nut Works and Mount Ninderry, which can be climbed for glorious views to the sea. The Rocks, a popular wedding venue, is only minutes away.
A 15 minute drive takes you to one of the best beaches on the Sunshine Coast, Coolum Beach, a lovely costal town with popular beaches, and shopping. The bussling Eumundi Markets (Wednesday and Saturday) are a 5 minute drive away. Noosa Beach is a 30 minute drive away.
Nambour, a 10 minute drive is a busy town, eateries include Mexican, Italian, Thai, Chinese, pizza, a couple of pubs serving food, and a cinema.
Nambour is the gateway to Mapleton, Montville, and Maleny, gorgeous towns up in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, beautiful spots for tourists to visit.

We tend to have minimal contact with guests, other than a friendly hello if we happen to see you. As the cottage is so private and away from the house, we often don’t even see our guests. However, we are only a phone call or text away, and respond quickly to any questions.
