The space
Enjoy the best views in santa teresa. The "Birdcage" is a small 2nd floor ocean view apartment with all amenities. This apartment has a fully equipped kitchen on a private ocean view deck, bathroom w/hot water, queen bed w/new posturpedic mattress, a/c, wireless internet, a safe for your valuables & a ceiling fan. We're only a two minute drive or 10-15 minute walk up a hill from the beach and only neighbors are the birds and monkeys. We're more than happy to help you arrange your sportfishing trips, wildlife adventures, ATV tours or rentals, canopy tours, yoga, pilates and spanish classes, horseback riding and more.

Located on our own private hill top with no neighbors, away from the hustle and bustle makes for a very relaxing stay. Still close enough to all the great variety of restaurants, surf shops, and always somewhere in town to be social.

TO ACCESS THE PRIVATE BATHROOM FOR THE BIRDCAGE APARTMENT GUESTS MUST WALK OUTSIDE AND DOWN A SET OF STAIRS.

I've lived in lake tahoe since 1991 and have since grown quite attached to the outdoors . after many years in the snow my desire to be near the ocean grew stronger . after many trips to maui , kauai , and costa rica I found mal pais/santa teresa and never left . it's such a special place . the people , beaches , restaurants , culture and waves are very hard to beat .
