A romantic and gorgeous two bedroom cottage within a resort style estate only 20 minutes from Canberra CBD and surrounded by exquisite facilities, views and wild life. A quaint ,fully equipped cottage, open fire, swimming pool and tennis court or enjoy a picnic in private by the river or lunch at one of Canberra's most popular vineyard destinations next door.
Have a private BBQ in the adjacent courtyard and later visit the cellar with private bar; the choices are many for a 5 star experience...

The space
The charming and comfortably decorated 2 br cottage has a full gas kitchenette and spacious living area boasting a romantic fireplace and access to a protected courtyard with BBQ. There are lots of walks to enjoy and the views are spectacular.
There are a king and a double bed in separate rooms and extra 2 single beds or a double mattress for the living room can be provided. Atmosphere is everything and our goal is to ensure you have a wonderful stay in Willowmere Estate.

Guest access
There is plenty of open car parking adjacent the cottage all on the same level for safe and easy access. Within walking distance of the property are award winning vineyards with wine tasting, lunch time restaurants and even music on weekends . There is a helicopter you can hire and a small aeroplane on the property . Walk in the beautiful gardens or through the paddocks abounding in wild life .The river side is ideal for a romantic picnic and is a 10 minute walk.Only 20 minutes drive from Canberra via sealed roads there is much to do around the place and we can help you plan and book your special stay.

Other things to note
Please note a limited internet and reception in the area. There is a plenty to do instead for your relaxation and mindfulness though. There are beautiful gardens to explore and walking paths around. The property is a Mecca for Photographers, Honeymooners, Romantics, bird and animal lovers and those just looking for a rural escape minutes from Canberra City. The 200 acre property fronts the Murrumbidgee River offering magical walks, swimming and picnic spots all along its banks. Spectacular views to the mountains and valleys are a gorgeous backdrop to the pool and other facilities. At night the stars are usually so bright in the sky you will just have to enjoy another glass of champagne or Cab. Sauv!

Neighbourhood highlights

The setting couldn't be better with surrounding vineyards and cafes with lots happening during 'open' days on weekends. We are surrounded by Brindabella Hills Winery, Pankhurst Vineyard, Surveyor's Hills, Wallaroo Wines and Nick O'Leary Wines and the views from the entire property are spectacular. You can do wine tasting and learn about wines straight from the wine makers themselves whilst enjoying a cheese platter or scrumptious meals. If you prefer a little more privacy you can enjoy the intimacy and 'cool vibes' in the European style bar 50 metres from your cottage.
