Interaction with Guests
I love to meet my guests and help them with their stay. There are so many wonderful places close by, and word of mouth makes such a difference., I try to always be here to greet my guest, and show them around and help with any questions, like booking a taxi to go to the airport, or getting down to Watsons Bay to watch the sun go down over the Harbour Bridge. Sorting all the markets there are to visit in Sydney not to mention the best of the restaurants.
Our neighbourhood is right in the centre between the city and Bondi Beach, with a huge Westfield Bondi Junction shopping centre and rail station 5 minutes walk. We are a centre for organic cafes, and foods, and so central to going anywhere in Sydney. A bus stop at the top of the street takes you to the beach or the city in 20 minutes. Not to mention the childrens playground 10 houses up my street, a meeting place for many a family gathering.
Park in my driveway any time all the time while you visit. Bus to city or Bondi Beach, 20 minutes, Walk to Bondi Junction 5 minutes also a rail station there. This is one of the best spots in Sydney because its so central
Airport $4.50 bus from airport to Bondi Junction Interchange, then 10 minute walk to my house Or Taxi is about $50

The Studio is under a beautiful big Morton Bay fig tree and a mother possum lives in there and she sometimes saunters across your roof or mine.. My daughters dog Sally who you can see in my profile will be living with me only some of the time. Indiana is our resident Himalayan cat who lives in my house . No pets please.
Bettina made us feel welcome and was very attentive on arrival, telling us about the features of the house and an intro to the area. The description given was accurate. The apartment was spacious with high ceilings and comfortable for our few nights' stay.
We returned to this Bondi Junction Garden Studio after having spent a few months there earlier on. The place was just as welcoming as before! Bettina was as cheerful and as helpful as always and we truly enjoyed our last few days in Australia in her company, and that of her little cat, Indiana. We had meals together, and even went to the Moonlight cinema around the corner, at Centennial Park. Our dog, who was traveling with us, loved being at the Garden Studio, with the possums and the bats who came and visit regularly, climbing around the gigantic tree in front of the house. Wonderful spot to relax, blend in and get into the Australian spirit/way of living!
I had my parents visiting me from overseas and they stayed a month at Bettinas place. They had a good experience there. They where met upon arrival with some fresh groceries Bettina had bought and throughout their stay this type of friendliness was the norm. The outside area is green and lush but bring insect repellent. Inside is cozy and decorated in a homely fashion and you can cook in a well equipped kitchen. If something is missing Bettina will help out in a heartbeat. She also offers great advice as to what to see and do in the area. The place is located really well in terms of local transport to the beach or to the city.
The stay at Bettina's place in Bondi Junction was great. She made us feel at home right away and we felt very lucky to be surrounded by nature, the ponds with fishes, wonderful plants and flowers and being so close to Centennial Park was a treat, so was being near the best organic shops one could ask for! The proximity to the public transport was a plus too, for an easy commute to everywhere in town (Bondi Junction Bus Station is less than 10 minutes by foot). The house is cosy, welcoming, and we will gladly return again later in January, before getting back to our own place in New Zealand, after our Australian adventure! We very much look forward to it! Bettina is a great host and she has a contagious energy, and a very sophisticated taste. Beatrix was a wizard with the cleaning of the house as well, and we were very grateful for her taking care of the place and keeping it tidy every week. Highly recommended!
Très agréable séjour dans le loft de Bettina, ou nous avons vécu à 5 pendant 3 nuits en parfaite harmonie. Déco d'intérieure de très bon goût et situation dans la ville parfaite !
Bettina was a great host. Simply wanted a place to stay for my girls and parents before a long trip back to the US and this place more than filled those requirements. The location is fantastic, plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance and very close to public transport.
We arrived from the uk very tired and we were met by bettina early in the morning. She made us feel really welcome. The accommodation was much bigger than the phtos showed. \lovely well equipped kitchen and lots of space to spread out. Beautiful garden to sit out.. Very nosy cat too. My grandaughter had lots of toys to play with.
Great location. 10 minute walk to \bondi junction for all transport and supermarkets. We stayed for 4and half weeks and were really comfortable. Bettina went out of her way to be helpful and advise us where to see in Sydney. Would recommend anybody to stay here. We hope to return. Very clean indeed . Great
I am from Sydney Australia, I am self employed I distribute seafood and I am 66, female, mother of two children, one grandchild, I own my house in Bondi Junction and love to travel. I love animals, have a great garden, interested in permaculture, Art, film, people and particularly nature, enjoy organics and passionate about food miles/ markets, guess I am just a well travelled mature and easy going woman, but I do love to meet people and when I was told about air bnb I thought thats just my thing I dont like faceless hotels. This photo is taken looking out over the harbour of Sydney with my daughters dog Sally who sometimes visits. Airbnb works really well for me and you can see the reviews from great, great guests. I am looking for a longer booking from March 23 for about 3 or 4 weeks. I can offer a good value price for a longer term booking Please ask?
