You will find our cozy 6 bedroom home amid 350 acres of organically-farmed fields, and pastures mowed by grass-fed cattle. The Inn offers longer term stays so you can work and/or home school using fast wifi for zoom meetings and computer/technology. There's plenty of room to create office space.
We are willing negotiate rates based on length of stay.

The space
Text works better than cell calls, but a walk up the hill to use our "Tardis" (phone booth) for longer calls is available. Garbage service is available and depending on the length of stay, usual amenities will be provided. Books and games are on hand for young and old, including a couple for outdoors.

We provide an abundance of towels, and extra set of sheets for each bed, a washer & dryer, and a completely outfitted kitchen with extra refrigerator & stove.
Enjoy cups of coffee and sunshine on the sun-porch, walks in the pastures and countryside.
Totally powered by solar.

Our housekeeper, Danyelle Kleinschmi , helps keep the house "sparkling clean," quoting a guest. Thanks to her dedication, attention to detail and professional services, we are proud to welcome guests to our home. We compensate with a livable wage.

Explore northeast Nebraska, by visiting the Nissen Winery, Bow Valley’s historic Sts. Peter and Paul church and others dotted around northeast Nebraska. Go fishing or swimming up at the Lewis and Clark recreation area, take a day trip on the Outlaw Trail or have fine dining experiences in Yankton or Vermillion, SD.

Guest access
You may use the open areas in the house, including the utility room with the washer & dryer. You are also welcome to take walks in the pastures if there are no cattle mowing. We advise you stick to the cow paths, as you could be injured if you step in a badger hole.

Other things to note
The FarmHouse restrictions:
1. No smoking in the house, including the sunporch.
2. No animals allowed in the house unless approved when booked.
3. No hunting, 4 wheeling or snowmobiling are permitted on the farm.
4. Fields, other than pasture walks are off limits.
5. ALL farm buildings are off limits.

Martin and I are baby boomers and have raised our family of 5 on the Kleinschmit family farm. We dedicated our lives to taking care of the land and animals that have been in our care. We love to travel and Airb&b has provided us a unique opportunity to visit places with the best local expertise possible, people that live in and love their communities. We decided to move to town and share our farm home with not only our family, but with others that love being in the country and like to spend time with family and friends. Our family will stay there when they return home for visits, so you will see remembrances of their lives partially in the books, movies, used toys and other things scattered around the house. We look forward to sharing the Kleinschmit family home and community with you. FYI, the farm's enegy useage is generated with solar energy, Martin's next phase in his life quest to work in concert with the environment, through MarLin Wind & Solar.
