A magical, private retreat. Classic Kiwi Bach, comfortable, sunny and simple. Glorious sunsets, intimate encounters with Tui, Kereruru and Wekas who share this haven. The cottage has spectacular views of the constantly changing tidal scenery, sea birds feeding at low tide. It has private water frontage so perfect for Kayakers or Paddle boarders who want to explore the beautiful Ohiwa Harbour. There is a Tinny (small row boat) that you can take out for a row or a fish.

This was most definitely a sanctuary. Stunning views and completely relaxing. A very comfortable house and Dido is an outstanding host.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay. I think it is a magic part of NZ. Hope you haven’t suffered too much in this stormy weather. Cheers Dido

Typical Kiwi Batch with great views, ideal location for White Island and Motu trips. Remember to explore the local Regional Park and Glow Worms.
