Spacious, relaxing accommodation located in quiet court setting backing onto Ovens River, Porepunkah. Just metres to Rail Trail Cafe, Punkah Pub, and nearby Punkah Pantry & Local Roadhouse. Pedal just 6 kilometres along the Murray To Mountains Rail Trail to Bright. Relax and unwind in this well appointed and comfortable 3 bedroom ‘home away from home’. Cyclist, family & pet friendly with excellent indoor and outdoor cooking facilities, & beautiful grassy area at the rear with easy river access.

The space
The house boasts a fantastic fully-equipped kitchen, 3 large bedrooms, 1 large bathroom with double shower and deep bath (toilet separate), fully equipped laundry, and an expansive lounge room including plenty of comfy couches and recliners. This is the place to choose for your next Porepunkah holiday stay. We have secure covered storage for your bikes, and a fully fenced large garden area, plus beautiful parkland behind the property with a gentle track sloping down to the secluded river beach area.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house, however bedroom access is determined by guest numbers. 1-2 guests offers 1 bedroom, 3-4 guests offers 2 bedrooms, 5-6 guests offer 3 bedrooms.
Outdoor areas. One small rear corner of the yard is gated, with a small locked shed that houses our garden tools etc. The larger shed is also locked, however we can organise guest access for motorbike storage etc. on request. Guests have private access to the two spacious covered carport areas, plus there is also additional ample street parking. Parents please note that although the rear yard and garden area is fenced, it is not pool fencing, and especially considering the proximity of the river, it is the parents' responsibility to maintain supervision of their children at all times. Likewise, pet owners please be aware that certain breeds of dogs may be able to jump over or squeeze through parts of the fencing, whereas for others it will be sufficient to contain them easily.

Base rates provided are for 2 guests. Extra guests will attract extra charges.
Some restrictions will apply to bookings.....
2 nights standard off-peak bookings - one night may be negotiable, but at a higher rate.
3 nights Labour Day weekend
3 nights Queens Birthday weekend
3 nights Grand Final weekend
3 nights Hot Rod weekend
4 nights Melbourne Cup weekend
3 or 4 nights Anzac Day weekend (depending on which day it falls. And if it coincides with School holidays then it's a 6 night minimum)
6 nights School holidays
4 nights Easter (unless it coincides with school holidays then it's a 6 night minimum)
7 nights Christmas period
But Please feel free to check with us in peak periods, if a booking gap appears or if the dates are approaching, as we may have more flexibility with minimum stays. Discounts available for early bird, non-refundable bookings and longer stays.
