The highest residence in The Grampians, Adair is a 4 bedroom 1930s historic residence. The property shares a boundary with The Grampians National Park and offers stunning views over the surrounding countryside. This historic homestead comes with 25 acres abounding with kangaroos, emus, deer and birds.

Adair has accommodation for 10 people with 3 queen beds and two sets of bunk beds. It has three bathrooms: one bathroom is ensuite; the second boasts a shower and toilet; and the third, a toilet and a deep clawfoot bath - the perfect way to relax after a strenuous walk or a long day's sightseeing.

The kitchen is basic but well equiped, with a cosy wood heater, gorgeous bay window seat and a long table that seats 10, making it a perfect place to hang out with friends and family, chatting over cups of tea or coffee made with the crystal-clear mountain spring water that supplies all the houses needs.

The lounge room comfortably seats 10, has a 50 inch smart TV and a reverse-cycle air conditioning for year round comfort and a cosy wood heater for those cooler months.

A 5 burner barbecue and comfortable outdoor furniture provide perfect alfresco dining on the spacious verandah, with an unparalleled views over the surrounding farmlands and out to the distant horizon.

Guests have unrestricted access to all areas on the property. In the house they are free to enjoy: the lounge room with TV, DVD player, and a large selection of board games; unlimited free wifi access; a well equipped kitchen with electric stove and oven, microwave and large fridge and seating for 10 at the big table; and outdoor areas including a generous verandah with outdoor furniture and a 5 burner barbecue.
The 25 acre property also has several walks for people with varying degrees of fitness, from a leisurely 1 hour perimeter stroll through the property's diverse range of habitats, to a more rigorous accent of Mt Cassell in the bordering national park.

Other things to note
What to bring: Warm clothes in the cooler seasons (April -Sept) are essential to fully enjoy outdoor activities, as are sturdy clothes, footwear and hats if bushwalking.
