My house is in the beautiful Calder Valley - see the view in photos! It's light and spacious, warm and peaceful.

The nearby towns of Hebden Bridge and Halifax are a short drive or bus ride away.
There is always parking available on the street (not main road), or the train station of Mytholmroyd is just a couple of miles away.
The kitchen / dining room has a woodburner and space for sitting.

Outside is a small sitting area with views across the valley.

The space

Hebden Bridge is lovely to visit, with it's independent shops, cafes and canal. Halifax has the just re-opened Piece Hall, Theatres and Museums.

A little further are Todmorden, Howarth, Saltaire, Wakefield with the Hepworth Gallery and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

The moors and valleys around are all good for walking and exploring.

When you stay I'm happy to give suggestions on where to go, or of course let you get on with your own thing.

Rachel isca wonderful host. Present if needed but also discreet and respectful of your privacy. Lovely home and great location. Thoroughly recommend if you are in the area.

I love this valley which I moved to two years ago. The wide open spaces of the moors, above green valleys with small towns, quirky shops, cafes and galleries.
