Hebron Homestead is a large, 5-bedroom house suitable for families, friends, retreats, and small events. Set on 70 acres, along river frontage of the stunning Colo River, Hebron Homestead is a relaxing space with plenty on offer for the more adventurous. Hebron Cottage (sleeps up to 6 people) is also located on the property for larger group bookings.
The Colo River is in walking distance and accessible direct from our property.
The space
Situated on river frontage of the beautiful Colo River, Hebron Homestead offers guests a peaceful sanctuary only an hour's drive from the city. Relax in the house, take leisurely walks across the property down to the river, explore the neighbouring areas...whatever you decide to do, you will love the tranquility of the house and it's surrounds. The house has been renovated in a contemporary style, that is both beautiful and functional for your getaway. The two-storey home is child-friendly, with a large open plan living and dining room and overlooks the massive veggie garden beds. The kitchen has been completely fitted out and is equipped for all your cooking and dining needs. The house has wi-fi for those who want to stay connected during their stay, and the living room has a large flat screen TV for your entertainment needs. Aircon and heating to cover all seasons, a fireplace for the colder seasons, and the house is also equipped with dishwasher and washing machine.
Swimming in the river, or waterskiing at the nearby Hawkesbury. Fish on the river direct from the property, we have a jetty where you can moor your boat. In the winter months, enjoy getting cozy by the fireplace and waking up to watch the misty fog lift as the day starts. Resident wallabies & roos and native birds, with the odd sighting of a koala too. Tranquil, private & perfect for a quiet weekend away, or for a celebration with friends and family. Also perfect for corporate & wellbeing retreats.
Hebron Farm is a working farm, so livestock and produce are seasonal and contingent on the weather.

Fi, myself and the kids have embarked on a very exciting project. We have bought a lovely property in Lower Portland on the Colo River. The land use itself is varied. We have 2km of river frontage with lovely beach, jetty and boat ramp. We have about 58 Acres of arable farming land that will be home to cattle, sheep, goats and chickens. The garden beds are an essential ingredient of the property. We are creating something really special that the family and many guests can enjoy visually, practically, ethically and spiritually. It’s an upmarket farm-stay.
