Sheri made the stay relaxing and gave me tips for locations for photography as that was my purpose for being in the area. Communication was excellent with Sheri. The house was very cozy and felt like a home away from home. Satellite tv was very much appreciated so that I didn’t miss NU getting creamed by OSU. A great value for my needs. This is a place I’d like to stay at again sometime! North Loup has a nice cafe for breakfast but I don’t think they have any lunch or dinner establishments. Ord has some options as well as a small craft brewery. Both North Loup and Ord have nice, polite residents which made it an even better experience. The area is very scenic, especially in the fall season. For sightseeing try hiking the chalk mine area, Davis Creek Reservoir, a picturesque old railroad bridge north of town off 806 road, and make sure to see Fort Hartsuff about a half hour or so north of Ord. Springdale Road from Ord to Scotia makes for a nice, scenic fall drive.

Stayed with family, had plenty of room to spread out. Great value. Sheri was easy to talk to & very welcoming.

The perfect small town experience! Warm inviting home with a simplistic feel and warmth that easily welcomes you. Exceptionally clean, all the modern devices you need without the cumbersome extras. My stay in the area was last minute so having the entire house to myself was an added plus after a hectic travel schedule. Should I find myself again in the area I will stay again and I highly recommend this satisfying home to any travelers!
