Such a fantastic getaway! In the most beautiful location. Jill was so helpful and accommodating, leaving a lovely breakfast- including delicious eggs from her chickens! Can't recommend this cottage enough for a cosy stay in the Peak District. Will definitely return.

It's a lovely little cottage and Jill is a very nice host! The house is very well equipped and really cosy. The easiest and most comfortable way is to arrive with an own car, that way you can also easily reach very nice hiking trails around the location. Perhaps the best sign of how much we liked it is that we are in fact planning to get back in the near future. Tiago & Johanna from Germany

The cottage is perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Good location and easy to access the peaks. Jill and Dave were perfect hosts. We felt very welcome and were very grateful for all the groceries Jill provided upon arrival. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

This is such a lovely little cottage. It's just on the outskirts of a small village called Chinley, and is very scenic and peaceful. Jill is a great host, and made sure we had everything we needed for our break, even fresh eggs from the chickens in the morning! There's space to park, and it's super easy to drive to some great walks or into Buxton. There's also a couple of lovely pubs within walking distance, I recommend making a booking for food at The Old Hall Inn - their steak & ale puddings are incredible. Overall, a great place to stay, we're definitely going to try and come back next year.
