I am a 67 year young active woman, who has had a successful career in the corporate side of retail for over 35 years. I have recently retired, and have always loved to travel. I usually do this through volunteering in 3rd world countries. I just returned from a 2 week stay in Uganda volunteering in an orphanage. I also have done volunteering in disaster relief in Japan (after the Tsunami) and in Haiti building schools. I was in Ghana for 1 month at an orphanage and a few weeks helping out in a medical clinic in a small village. I love the idea of AIR BNB and meeting new acquaintances during my travels. My favorite quote is:
"Life is not about the breathes you take...but the moments that take your breath away!"
