A unique secluded cosy cottage. Sleeps 2 couples and 2 singles between Lunawanna and the Bruny Lighthouse. Overlooks the very private Mickeys Bay with many wonderful sunsets. Short walk to the beach. Long driveway in, so no traffic noise. Perfect for couples and children / grown-ups. Kayaks, life jackets, and snorkelling gear is available. Kids stay free up to 16 - don’t count them in at booking ( just let us know ) so we can have beds ready.

The space
The Cottage contains a king-size bed down stairs and a small loft with queen bed and two singles. Extra bedrooms available on request. Fully self contained with modern kitchen equipment. Games and books to read. Swings for children to explore. Lounge / coffee table, black wood table and chairs, hardwood floor with carpets and bean bags to relax on. Hotel linen and towels provided.

Mickeys Bay is unique. If you strain your eyes you can spot one more building in the whole of the Bay, and that's it! Noise is only by wind and waves. And at night: no street light, headlight, traffic light. Just the moon, Milky Way, Southern Cross and the occasional faint beam of the distant Lighthouse.
The most unique experience is a night paddle in the shallow Bay right in front of you.

I live on Bruny with my partner and our two kids 11 and 8 after moving here from Switzerland a long time ago. I love living on this island. Our pantry is stocked with basics. Between them, the garden and the freezer we can always knock up a beautiful meal without running to the supermarket first.
