Where you’ll be

Bellingham, Washington, United States

The Letter Streets neighborhood (Streets are named A through J and the cross streets are in alphabetical order) is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Bellingham and many of the buildings remaining from the late 1800s and early 1990s are on the National Register of historic places. Captain George E. Pickett's residence, built in 1856 and located only a few blocks away on F Street, is the oldest documented wooden structure on its original site in Washington State. Oscar winner actress Hillary Swank spend some of her early years acting at Bellingham's community Theatre Guild, located in a converted historic church on H. Street A City maintained pedestrian/bike trail that connects the neighborhood to downtown and Whatcom Creek -where sawmills and now a fish hatchery were established along its banks - accessed directly from the back yard of the studio.
