This really is very remote and took two hours to find with the help of locals who I met in Alstonfield. The contact address and post code on the booking confirmation is wrong by about 4/5 miles and nobody responds to the phone numbers given as the contact. I was sent vague instructions too late, but even these do not have an address or workable contact number. The post code on these instructions takes you to a place about a mile away.

A wonderful house in a really beautiful location. Off the beaten track (although not hard to find), quiet, surrounded by hills and fields. Some good walking routes nearby. Large room and en-suite, very comfy, immaculately clean. Healthy breakfast and coffee / tea provided. Welcoming and friendly hosts, 2 lovely dogs... and an eccentric chicken to boot. Excellent value. Highly recommended!

The bnb is a fantastic space - beautifully decorated with local art, with lots of space and very comfortable. The garden and the location are totally gorgeous and very peaceful. The hosts were very friendly, and very helpful, making everyone feel comfortable and at home. We'll definitly be looking to book there again!

This really is an idyllic spot, a chocolate box cottage with stunning views and very peaceful. We enjoyed some fabulous walks in the area. Anne and Terry are very friendly and easy going and the rooms are lovely; plenty of space and comfortable. A great place for a long weekend exploring this lovely part of the country. One of the nicest Air BnBs we've stayed in.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Anne's home is beautiful and set in such an idyllic countryside location. My husband and I had our young puppy staying with us too and we could not have felt more comfortable or at ease. It was lovely to stay with hosts who not only welcome you with a great cup of tea, but can also chat and share stories as though you've know them for years. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
