My stay at Ari's house couldn't have been better. Check in was really easy and they were able to accommodate me arriving a little later than expected. The house smelled like the cleanest house in the world. Getting in and out was easy and discrete because there's a back door about 10' away from the bedroom door. The room is tastefully decorated, and the bathroom is really pretty and updated. One of the reasons I close this room is because it has a TV. Fios is the provider, so there was plenty of programming available.
It turns out that Ari's family and I have some things in common. I'm referring to them as my new adoptive family. If you're not into that much face time, they're fine with that, too. The first morning I had a stomach ache. Ari's mom insisted on making me tea and plucked an herb out of the garden to add to the tea. It did make me feel a lot better. She left me food for dinner even though that wasn't part of the arrangement.
As a female travelling alone, there are always security issues to be concerned with. There was not a doubt in my mind in this house, though, that I would be well taken care of.
