I have had great experiences with Airbnb in the past. I feel that Yicun was not quite prepared to have guests stay in her house. I arrived and was given my choice of one of 2 small bedrooms or the master bedroom, all 3 totally empty of furniture or furnishings. There was no individual temperature control so I chose a small room hoping it would cool down quicker. The bathroom was clean but totally void of any amenities, including towels or soap. After asking for, I was given one bath towel with the tags still on it. When I returned late that evening a bed, lamp & a small end table had been moved into my room. The sheets did not fit the twin bed, it was a larger sheet folded in half. A dust ruffle was used as the bottom sheet. There was no lock on the bedroom door. The rest of the house seemed to have no furniture. There were boxes of build-it-yourself chairs and a futon couch but none had been put together. If I would have had to spend any other time there than just sleeping it would have been very awkward.
