We stayed on unit 3 which was a large sunny space. Stephen was a great host, he brought us flowers and fresh eggs. He even made creme brulee and shared with us nd the other guests. There were samples of products for sale in the apothecary for use which smelled great. Like Stephen…

Stephan was a great host. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend on the cape. The location had a good energy that radiated throughout the property. The proximity to other areas of yhe cape is ideal. We loved the bike trail that connects to the back of the property. Must try the co…

Hi Chad ! Thanks so much for the honest feedback about the floor. I found a Kirby vacuum cleaner on Craig's list and used it, but it has lots of height settings, so I guess I didn't "get it right" if the floor had dirt or sand. I will definitely check it out today. Again, great to have you here on the farm. My iris collection is starting to bloom now :)) See you again-- Stephen

Our recent trip to the cape was wonderful despite some rainy weather. The accommodations were perfect and amazing location, such a quaint old Cape Town. Stephan was very pleasant and gave us some great spots to check out while we were there. Loved the herbal shop, lots of great o…

Place was spacious and cozy, easy check-in once we realized we were in the building with the vegan cafe :) The location was great, close to Orleans shopping and route 6A scenic drive. Stephen was super friendly and responsive, we would stay here again for sure.

Response from Stephen:
Hi Jamie. Wow.. sorry about the linens. I use one of those ecologic, bio-degradable liquid soaps combined with Borax powder and washing soda. And if the day is fine I always hang them in the sun to dry. This leaves them a little stiff, but I refuse to use chemical fabric softeners. I also do not use Chlorine, as it is very harmful to the environment. I will try and have my change over lady give the linens a sniff, as my nose is not sensitive. If she detects a mouldy odor we will put them in the dryer at high heat and see if that helps. Thanks for this feedback. I am new to this and need all the information I can get. Best- Stephen

We had a great stay at Stephans place. Its a very convenient location to everything and close to the snowy owl coffee shop which is by far the best coffee around! Stephan's herb shop and farm are wonderful and we went home with a lot of goodies! Hope to be back soon.

Great location, convenient by car to practically everything, popular coffee mecca and herb shop on grounds, and the Great Cape Herbs mosquito repellent really works! Unit 3 is a bit unpolished, but roomy and handily equipped with clean fridge, stove, coffee maker, terrific 2-b…

Oh hi Abbie Thanks for the suggestions concerning the apartment. This is exactly what I will be doing this fall is remodeling the apartments ! Floors especially, so I can trash that rug! and replace with nice wood flooring and remove or hide the painted plywood. Also two of the side windows will be removed and the stove, with proper vent, will go on that side. Other two side windows replaced also. I have been pricing low so that I can try and earn enough to do these upgrades. Thanks so much for coming! Best- Stpehen
