This particular guest was devious , after asking on 5 occasions to tell me how many guests stayed in my home which had a maximum listing of 8 people , he clearly had more than 8 staying as chose to ignore my question repeatedly but respond to all other questions .
In response to the above the heating was left on permanently with the boiler turned to mid point ,i explained this on meeting nick 2 hours after check in and the smart nest system showed it reaching 22 degrees at night as a maximum temperature, the guest could have turned down the radiators easily in each room or opened a window on the latch ,i also demonstrated the Jacuzzi and all was working fine with know issues as he saw at the time . I asked nick the next morning if all was ok and he didn't mention anything about the heating which is a strange thing if three people had slept downstairs !
He did mention the Jacuzzi which i replied to as being weird , it was only after check out when i raised a claim for damages , excessive cleaning (25 towels in two days ) and more people staying than the maximum booking conditions outlined.
Did his spurious claim appear 4/5 days after checkout , it was noted by Airbnb and they chose to ignore his claim as unfounded.
I would be careful booking and allowing this guest to use your home and would definately not recommend him to anyone, if i could give zero stars I would .
