Gullaweena is a picturesque 110 acre working rural property on Paddys River in the Southern Highlands, midway between Sydney and Canberra. Access off the Hume is easy.
The Guesthouse is a fully self contained private accommodation wing attached to the main homestead with a separate entrance. The Guesthouse comprises 3 bedrooms, a kitchen/dining room, TV room, a two storey library, and 2 bathrooms both with showers. There is also a games room containing a ping pong table.

The space
Bedroom configuration.
Bedroom 1: 2 King single beds,
Bedroom 2: Queen bed,
Bedroom 3: Queen bed
TV room - Double sofa bed

Enjoy walking through the property to the river, have a swim in the pool, practice your golf swing, play croquet on the lawn, bring your bikes for a ride or just pick something from the veggie garden and say hello to the chooks and cattle. Try some fishing in the river -just bring your own gear!
Alternatively enjoy your meal by the firepit outside, play board games or cards in the library, or get into some reading with the myriad of books.
The Guesthouse is on one level with easy access from the driveway. Note there are stairs to the library second level.

Guest access
Guests may access all the gardens, the pool, the river and the surrounding paddocks. The property runs Angus cattle so be mindful of not entering the paddocks they are grazing in - they are docile and friendly but rather large!

Look up Gullaweena Guesthouse on Facebook or YouTube to watch a video of our property!

We are located midway between Sydney & Canberra. For local coffee, general supplies and great food visit the general store in Marulan. Moss Vale is great if you need to do a comprehensive shop. Coffee shops are in all the nearby villages, including Penrose, Wingello, Sutton Forest, Marulan and Exeter. There are also lots of wineries including Ealing Forest, Cherry Tree Hill on the highway and Sallys Corner Wines only minutes away.
The annual events in the highlands are too numerous to mention but include Brigadoon at Bundanoon, tulip time in Bowral, weekly farmers markets in the villages, plus art, crafts, music and writers festivals. Its a great place to visit!!

We are a retired couple who have gone back to the bush after bringing up our children in Sydney NSW. We moved to our farm Gullaweena about eight years ago, and have thrown ourselves into revegetating our farm, growing our own veggies and enjoying the rural lifestyle we love. As well as this we love walking, golf, swimming and entertaining our friends. When in Sydney to visit our family and our gorgeous grandchildren , our caretakers Di & Bruce look after our Airbnb guests at the farm.
