No 2 Riverside Cottages is a fully refurbished 19th century workers cottage in the lovely Suffolk village of Yoxford.
The accommodation has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 4 people. Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has a single bed with trundle bed "pull out" - although a tight fit in the smallest bedroom! Downstairs the house has a comfortable living room with wood burner. The kitchen diner is very well equipped. Gas central heating. Outside space includes patio and private parking.

The space

Yoxford is known as the garden of Suffolk. The house is located at the quiet end of the High street and walking distance from "Main" - a renowned restaurant, 2 pubs and an award winning tea room and cafe.

Guest access

The village has a range of antique shops and art galleries and is half a mile away from Darsham train station. Yoxford is perfectly located near the seaside towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh, Dunwich and Walberswick. Minsmere nature reserve (BBC's Springwatch) and the larger towns of Saxmundham (Waitrose) and Framlingham are also nearby, as is the village of Snape with the famous Maltings music, art and shopping.

Other things to note

Easy road access just off A12 and half mile from Darsham train station

Children under two are welcome and we can provide a travel cot. The stairs are steep and ask guests provide their own stair gate. There is a garden gate that leads to a right of way across our neighbours garden.
Well behaved dogs are welcome which we would like to restrict to just one. We ask owners to keep dogs downstairs and clean up any mess from the garden

The cottage was perfect - what a lovely space to spend time in. It was super clean and just great to have a pint of milk, tea, coffee and fresh bread waiting for us too. We particularly enjoyed lighting the wood burning stove - which topped off a lovely weekend exploring this beautiful corner of Suffolk. Paul made our stay so easy - his communication was excellent. Thank you so much! Highly recommended.

Accurate description, great communication. Cottage is well equipped and the closed garden is great if you are bringing a dog. Nicely decorated and very cosey. The woodburner is a nice touch and you can buy logs from the shop a few minutes walk away. Kitchen well equipped with some basics like salt and milk provided. Yoxford itself has a number of places to eat/drink. Many other Suffolk towns, villages and coastline a short drive away. Southwold/Walberswick approx 20 minute drive. A great base for exploring Suffolk, would certainly stay again.

The cottage was very well equipped, very clean and stylish. Great location and lovely villages and beaches to explore nearby. I would definitely recommend your cottage. Also try to get a reservation at Mains restaurant on the High St, delicious food.

Such a beautiful little cottage. It had everything you could possibly need. It was so warm and comfortable. So many nice, thoughtful touches. After a mix up due to my terribly inadequate computer skills, Paul managed to sort us out. We would definitely love to stay again and hopefully for longer.

A beautiful cottage in a great location. Brilliant base for some of Suffolk's attractions. We had trips to Snape Maltings and Southwold but found we were keen to return to the cottage to just relax and spend time there as it was so cosy and inviting. Great host who communicated quickly and everything met our expectations. Would definitely recommend a stay here
