A spacious and comfortable cottage in a great location for many areas of interest. Ross and Emily were extremely easy to communicate with and very welcoming - and the fresh eggs were very much appreciated. Would recommend to all looking for a peaceful rural retreat.

Nice, fully equipped cottage located in a beautiful, rural surrounding. Unfortunately the house wasn’t cleaned at all after the visit of the previous visitors and it was very dirty. We asked Ross to come over and check the status. He apologized and agreed that it was not accept…

Response from Ross:
Hi Renske, Many thanks for your review. Your review does not reflect our communication at the time on the following points: 1) Check in - you did not follow the detailed check in instructions which I always highlight to guests beforehand to avoid guests coming to my house rather than directly to the cottage. These directions enable guests to start their holiday straight away. I have 3 children, one with special needs, and farm businesses. 2) The cottage was cleaned prior to arrival, not to the usual very high standard which can be seen for all of my reviews. It was cleaned by me in record time due to Wendy our amazing cleaner being ill. I agreed with some of your family's concerns, and put them all right spending an nearly 2 hours extra cleaning on your arrival. 3) I arranged for the floor to be scrubbed and cleaned the following day as requested. 4) I could not have been kinder, more accommodating or helpful. I want all guests to have an amazing experience which I said that to you many times, and I made extra special effort to give you that amazing experience. I am sorry that you are unable to appreciate that. Warm wishes, Ross

Lovely clean, tidy, well equipped cottage, quiet rural location, but near to Bath and Wells. Dog friendly too which is essential for us!

I live with my wife Emily and 3 children, two boys aged 11 and 8 and a girl aged 5. We share our home with an elderly Springer Spaniel dog, and we share our farm with sheep, pigs, ducks, hens and bees where there is a woodland with a covered spring feeding 2 natural ponds. We …
