Just a few minutes walk downhill from the South Downs Way ‘The Loft’ is the perfect place to retreat after a long day’s hike or cycle. With our local pub 300 meters up the road a pint and a hearty meal await.

‘The Loft’ is situated in a quintessentially English village where a 16th century thatched cottage can be seen across the garden and Virginia Woolf’s ‘Monks House’ is just down the road.

You can't help but relax and unwind when you visit The Loft. It's the perfect get away.

Perfectly situated for the Lewes Bonfire or just exploring Brighton and the south coast. Rodmell is a lovely East Sussex town. Highly recommend ordering the lovely breakfast tray.

A super cottage for a short break, located in an ideal country setting. Jen's team were super helpful and made my stay very enjoyable. Parking on site was ideal. I really appreciated the lemon drizzle cake, milk and tea/coffee that welcomed me on arrival.

Lovely little place, nice and secluded with a brilliant pub just down the road. Spotless and kitted out very well. Just a shame we only stayed one night
