Just beautiful that's all I need to say Accomodation leaves nothing wanting! Very quiet in a side street close to a canal Transport link just yards away but walking distance for the biggest market and the main museum Also many restaurants of all types again just round the corner This is a place for adults not suitable really for children but you will know that by the property description Johan the owner is very friendly and helpful but not intrusive so you really feel the space ! Beats a posh hotel every time

We can't recommend staying at Johan's apartment highly enough. It is in a great location on a quiet residential street but within easy walking distance of the centre and only minutes from the beautiful canals and some lovely restaurants and bars. The apartment was clean, light and cosy, exactly as the pictures suggest and we were met by Johan's friend Erika who was very warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Nice big, comfortable room in charming 17th century house that is one room wide. The area's really pleasant and quiet. The stairs to the attic are indeed steep and narrow, so a bit tricky if you have lots of luggage. Johan's assistant Erika was there to greet me and was friendly and helpful with good tips about de Pijp. There's a café just around the corner for a quick breakfast. I hope to be back.

Johan's place was like being at home immediately. We loved the place so much that we never wanted to leave. Great location, with everything in walking distance.

Charming studio apartment in an excellent location. The host is delightful and very helpful even had two cold beers waiting for us when we arrived!

We absolutely loved staying with Johan. This loft is beautifully decorated, well lit, and feels like home immediately upon arrival. Johan let us drop our bags off after our early am arrival and we were able to hit the pavement within a few minutes of arriving. His accommodating of our schedule was much appreciated. The location is close to plenty of great shops, restaurants and overall central to most things. We discovered many other neighborhoods just walking in different directions from this loft. You have to check out the nearby Albert Cuyp Market! The history of the house is incredible as well. We would absolutely recommend staying here as you will have a great, clean and private space. We cannot wait to take another trip to Amsterdam to stay here.

Johan's place is charming, warm and comfortable. It is the perfect stay in Amsterdam. Close enough to town to walk (or a tram super close by if you prefer), yet far enough away to feel like you're living like a local. The top floor room is huge and the bed comfortable. We could not ask for anything more - would stay here again in a heart beat.
