A relatable home centrally located, 10 minutes from Downtown Spokane, close to malls, restaurants, and parks.
This is a small home located in North Spokane. This home is what I would call "relatable." This meaning there are things about it that most people can relate to regarding their own homes: an occasional weed in the yard, a few in progress projects, yet a space comfortable enough to let loose and relax in.
The bedroom features a queen size bed with 2 windows, hardwood floors, and curtains over the windows. There is a 6 drawer dresser complete with mirror to store your belongings. Additionally, there is a closet with hangers provided if you have any items that need to be hung. Because this home was built in 1950, it is not the biggest bedroom out there, but it is big enough to be comfortable for 2 adults.
The bathroom is a bit small (but typical size for a home this age) but includes a storage tower, shower with tub (no drain plug, unfortunately), and of course a toilet. The floor was recently replaced within the last 2 years. Some toiletries are provided such as new toothbrushes, travel size toothpaste and mouth wash, and shower supplies (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.). Extra toilet paper, towels, and wash cloths are also provided.
The kitchen and dining room are a combined area. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances purchased within the last year. Because the home is a bit older, the kitchen is a bit on the small side, but this does not hinder the meal making process--after all, a true artist works with what he or she has available :). The dining area has a large table with 4 chairs around it.
The backyard is large for the neighborhood, and feature use of a firepit. Firewood provided. There is a pool on the property, but unfortunately due city regulations, guests are not permitted to use this.
Guests will have access to the main floor with exception to a locked spare room. Basement access it not available at this time. The backyard and patio are also accessible. Pool use is not permitted due to city regulations.
Interaction with guests
I do work full time in Liberty Lake which is about a half an hour drive from Spokane. That being said, I am always available by text if guests need help with anything, even suggestions for food or a good hangout spot! I typically will not be on site while the unit is booked, but I can always come by if need be.
Other things to note
Please remember that this home is not a hotel. The house is 70 years old, and fits the description of the average home in America (squeaky floors, dated siding, etc.). That being said, I am committed to making your stay as pleasant as I can.
- Be respectful of the neighborhood setting. Be prepared to quiet down after about 8:30 PM.
- Please resist tapping on the aquariums.
- No limbs should enter the aquarium water at any time.
- Pool should be free of outside contaminants.
- Do not feed the fish. This is done by the host on a scheduled basis. Guest will be notified prior to host entering the unit to do this.
- Do not attempt to enter any areas which have been designated as off-limits.
