This beautiful and spacious 3 bed duplex (two floors and terrace) apartment is located in a small charming quiet street in the heart of Knightsbridge, London. The apartment is just a few steps from the small shopping village of Chelsea which includes a post office/newsagent, butcher, grocer, deli/cafe, flower shop, and a wonderful Michelin starred French Restaurant called Racine. Other famous Michelin restaurants and bars nearby include Tom Aitkens Restaurant, The Capital Restaurant, The Collection Bar, and for Japanese food lovers, Zuma.

It is an easy walk to Brompton Road, Kensington High Street, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens. 6-8 minutes walk to the Natural History, Victoria and Albert, and Science Museums in South Kensington. Five minutes to Harrods.

A very large 3 bed apt in the heart of Knightsbridge, with close proximity to all major tourist attractions. Sleeps large families, large living room/large kitchen. Walking distance to museums, royal parks, famous churches, restaurants, bars and shopping.

The bedding arrangements : three full suites that cater for 7 people in total, with the third having the option of three single beds, or a double and one single. Then, there are two full sofa beds, one in the kitchen and one in the living room. There are then five full single guest beds that can be placed anywhere in the apartment (large living room, or in bedrooms).

There are two bathrooms both with Showers, and one which is a rain shower with large cubicle.

All within 5 to 20 minutes from this apartment are :

Museums, Churches, Big Ben, The London Eye, Buckingham Palace, 10 Downing Street - Prime Minsters Residence, Royal Parks (Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Holland Park), Princess Diana's Palace, Madam Tussauds, and much more.

30 Minutes from Heathrow airport - nearest underground station is South Kensington on the London Underground.

The area is called Knightsbridge, and the apartment is 5 minutes walk from the famous Harrods Department Store.

The apartment is arranged over two large floors (duplex) and sleeps up to 12. The kitchen is very large and ideal for family dinner parties, wedding events, and gatherings.

The location of the apartment is its best feature - you are walking distance to all major attractions, restaurants and night-life too.

  • We've stayed in the apartment a large family with kids (3 adults and 4 kids). The overal experience has been very positive. The apartment is big enough to host at least 8 to 10 people, it's extremely well located (close to restaurants in Beauchamp St, museums - minutes from the V&A Museum; Science Museum; Natural History, etc - , shopping - Harrods, etc-, and subway).

    Upon on our arrival Marco was waiting for us and on our departure Alexandra helped us with the logistic (while checking on the agreed time, she allowed us to leave luggage a couple of hours while she finished up with the cleaning). On the other hand, Patrick Lopes has been always replying promtply to our messages (through airbn site) and willing to help with any issue.

    The apartment has a kitchen fully equipped, they are TV sets in main rooms. There was no issue with the gas and electricity usage, the central heating worked well. Bedrooms, mainroom and cooking area were clean.

    Overall a good experience. I am looking forward to rent this apartment again in the near future.

    Apartment is fully equipped and very convenient especially for families for a long term stay.

  • Two things are important when renting a place sight unseen. First, of course is the apartment. A close second is how the owner/manager responds to questions and issues. On both points, I was totally satisfied with staying in Patrick's apartment.
    The apartment is incredible roomy, well appointed, with a fully functional kitchen that was fine for cooking large meals. And, you can't complain about the location of the flat!
    What I was most impressed by, however, was the high level of integrity and willingness to communicate exhibited by Patrick. He always responded to my emails/texts/phone calls, ready to answer a question or resolve a problem. Anyone considering staying in Patrick's apartment should have no worries about their experience.

  • My family stayed at Patrick’s flat for 5 days. They were 14 people and they were visiting for my wedding. I never had the chance to meet Patrick in person but he was always quick at responding and very accommodating. I meet Marco on arrival. The place was tidy and reasonably clean. Marco showed me around and explained how the electricity and gas cards worked. As soon as I arrived I went to the shop to top them up. Although there was some credit in the cards, I knew it would not be enough as they were a large group. There were no problems with gas/electricity during our stay, in fact my family mentioned how warm it was in the apartment despite being a large place.

    The kitchen was fully equipped and there was bedding for all 14 people. There was plenty of extra mattresses for everyone.
    The apartment had plenty of TVs and a large cinema screen. They never used the cinema screen as they were always out exploring London but I though it was a nice feature if they had decided to stay indoors and watch a movie.

    During our stay, Patrick send me a couple of messages to ensure that it was all well and we did not have any problems.

    One could see that it was once a grand apartment with high ceilings and large spacious rooms and when it was originally decorated it was done with elegant and good quality furnishings, despite this, the flat now does look slightly tired in places and a coat of paint would make a huge difference. Having said this, I feel the apartment is well priced. The flat is truly in the heart of South Kensington, making it an extremely convenient place to stay. We walked to Hyde Park, shopped at Harrods and visited the Albert and Victoria, and science museums that are all a stroll away from the apartment. It is difficult to get a much better location than this. The apartment was as we expected it. Everyone had a great time!

  • Nos recibió Marco, el encargado de Patrick y nos enseñó la casa. Todas las habitaciones eran según la descripción y había todas las camas y sofás que describe aunque algunas camas extra eran solo colchones. El sistema de cine en casa no funcionaba y no había Jacuzzi aunque en los servicios indica que si y había tazas, platos y cubiertos sucios en el lavavajillas.
    La electricidad funciona con tarjeta prepago y el nos dejó 13 libras que fueron insuficientes aunque en las instrucciones dice que es una asignación acorde a la estancia. Nosotros recargamos 16 libras más y eso que solo usamos el piso para cenar dormir y desayunar, el resto del día estábamos de turismo. Además, al llegar, Marco estaba usando la secadora con lo cual gastaba de nuestra asignación.
    El gas también es prepago y también fue insuficiente. Se usaba para calentar la casa y cocinar y la segunda noche estaba estropeado al llegar a casa. Imaginaos llegar a las 9 de la noche después de todo un día de caminar y tener la casa helada en enero y con tres niños pequeños y además no poder hacer la cena ni ducharnos porque la casa estaba helada. Mientras hablábamos con Patrick tuvimos que salir a comprar cena fría a un supermercado para poder cenar. Dijimos a Patrick y a Marco el mensaje de error del contador del gas, pero pensaban que no sabíamos utilizar bien la maquina, salimos a buscar una tienda y recargamos la tarjeta con 15 libras, pero tampoco era la solución. Sobre las 12 de la noche ya dijo q llamaría a la compañía y mandarían un técnico pero que si era fallo mío debía yo pagarlo. Sobre la una de la madrugada vino un técnico y reparó el aparato y nos dijo que era fallo de la tarjeta, que debíamos comprar y recargar una nueva. Así que informamos a Patrick.
    Al día siguiente mientras hacíamos turismo buscamos una tarjeta nueva, pero no era tan fácil, lo fácil es recargarlas, encontrar una tienda que de tarjetas nuevas no es fácil (preguntamos en unas 20) y ni Patrick ni Marco se ofrecieron a solucionar el problema. Os podeis imaginar el tiempo que perdimos haciendo esto. Al final encontramos una tienda sobre las 7 de la tarde y volvimos a casa con la nueva tarjeta. Al llegar otra vez la casa estaba fría y no podíamos cargar la nueva tarjeta porque había que activarla y como era Domingo la cosa era muy difícil. Así que otra vez comenzamos a hablar con Patrick, muy indignados ya con la situación y con el cruce de mensajes , finalmente otro técnico resolvió el problema.
    Un mes después ha aceptado pagarme 52 libras por gas, electricidad y la cena de un día, pero el tiempo perdido y el malestar por la situación eso no me lo compensa nadie. Nosotros íbamos a disfrutar, no a resolver problemas.
    Si os gusta esta casa hablad por adelantado del tema del gas y la electricidad.

    Angel unfortunately did not understand the English instructions on how to operate the Electricity/Gas, and broke the card given to her. However, the card was replaced for her within 3 hours of her letting us know, which was 10pm at night. We then paid for a restaurant evening meal for the family (even though we were not obliged to do this), however we found Angel to be very difficult to deal with all round because she does not read the emails we send to her. When Angel left she still thanked us for a pleasant stay.

  • Très bel appartement mais malheureusement mal entretenu. Nous étions 13 personnes, certains ont dû dormir sur le canapé et sur des matelas par terre. L'appartement est idéal pour 6 personnes.

    L'appartement se trouve dans un très beau quartier, l'arrêt de métro est à 5 minutes à pied.

    Je conseille cet appartement.

  • The location was amazing and it is a nice flat and good value for money. On the downside the flat was a bit tired and lived in. When we arrived TV and wifi did not work. Patrick was good in responding and fixing it, but a bit unnecessary for these things to be broken in the first place. While the flat had been cleaned before our arrival, a little bit more TLC would not have been amiss.

  • L'appartamento è davvero come raffigurato nelle foto, in una posizione strategica per raggiungere tutti i luoghi da vedere a Londra, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione del metro e a 1 minuto da quella dei bus. Si trova in bel quartiere con delle belle case molto tipiche. Da raccomandare! Unica nota negativa: faceva un po'freddino.
