Located in the beautiful Barossa Valley, your home away from home is a character filled, comfortable, historic property. There are five living rooms to share with your friends and family along with cosy nooks to escape and read a book when you want some quiet time to yourself. Lovely outdoor spaces with country views provide a backdrop that will refresh your senses and it's a 5 minute stroll to all of the pretty village of Lyndoch's handy amenities.

The space

The home you will enjoy was originally built in 1855 and was the 'New Lord Lyndoch Hotel'. Read about it's interesting history as you sip a glass of Barossa Shiraz in front of the wood burning heater or gaze over the lovely rural views from the back deck. We have many beautiful rooms to relax in or share with your family, friends or group. The large games room has a billiard table, big T.V with foxtel and DVD player and there is an extensive collection of reading material throughout the house. The country style kitchen has all the amenities of home with a falcon range with electric oven and gas cooktop and there is a BBQ outside. We supply all your dining and cooking requirements with lots of extras including delicious welcome platters with home baked treats. Our bedrooms are very versatile and range from Luxurious king beds to twin rooms. Most of our beds are long singles which can be converted to king size, so let me know what your requirements are. You can look forward to modern comforts like electric blankets, heating and cooling, wifi and kitchen gadgets, together with beautiful furnishings, linen and fresh flowers. Outside space is plentiful with gardens to stroll in and multiple decks, verandas and balconies.

A group of 9 of us stayed at Julie's place for a long weekend in the Barossa. The location was great, being a short drive to multiple wineries in the region, and walking distance to local pubs and the general store. The house itself was awesome, spacious with multiple bedrooms and large entertaining areas, including the pool table. We also appreciated the use of the kitchen and BBQ, and the platters and other amenities left for us. I would highly recommend this place for a group staying in the Barossa.

Luke and his group of friends were lovely, polite and very clean. I am thrilled that they enjoyed their experience so much. We have worked hard to provide something special and it is very satisfying to have such a nice review. Thank you Luke.
