Enjoy the relaxing peace and serenity, the views and the walks.
Daylesford is just 7 minutes away with excellent cafes, restaurants, interesting stores, spas, and an abundance of outdoor areas to explore.

The space
The Kitchen Cottage , formerly the original kitchen and dining room of the homestead, is a free standing rustic brick building adjacent to our home.
My great, great grandfather, John Egan, settled here in 1848 and started building Eganshomestead "Kooroonella" (Corinella) in 1857. The family have been here for 6 generations now.
There is 120 hectares (300 acreas) of bush and farmland to explore around the homestead.
The Indigenous people of the area called this place "Kooroonella" meaning where the kangaroo drinks. There are still many kangaroos on the property that can be viewed morning and evening in this beautiful hilly terrain with gorgeous views in all directions.

Location

Eganstown, Victoria, Australia

Eganstown is one and a half hours from Melbourne and 7 minutes from Daylesford.
The property is a working farm so we have cattle and 2 friendly dogs.
All gates must be closed after you.
You are welcome to roam around the 120 hectares (300 acreas) through bush, all creeks to the little Corinella waterfall, up hills for great views, to the quaint St Xavier Church and Cemetery and mingle with the wallabies, kangaroos and birds along the way.
There are areas that can be wet and rough so good walking shoes, boots or gumboots are recommended.
This area is 600 metres above sea level and gets cold, especially in the evenings. Bring warm clothes.
