🌿 Tropical Open-Air Living Notice 🌿
Our villa embraces the beauty of open-plan tropical living. As such, it is designed to be immersed in nature — which means you may occasionally encounter insects, geckos, or other small jungle creatures, especially in the evenings.

Please note:
   •   Only the bedroom is lockable and air-conditioned for your comfort.
   •   The living spaces are open-air, allowing natural breezes (and the occasional tropical visitor) to flow through.
   •   Due to the climate, you may experience humidity or dampness, particularly during the rainy season.

If you’re someone who finds peace in the rhythms of the natural world, you’ll love this experience. However, if you’re sensitive to bugs or crave a fully sealed, climate-controlled environment, this might not be the right fit for you.

We want your stay to feel effortless and aligned with your expectations—so please book only if you’re happy to co-exist with nature in all its forms. 🦎✨

🪷 The Soul of the Villa: The Joglo

At the heart of the villa is a beautifully restored Javanese joglo — a traditional ceremonial pavilion with soaring tiered ceilings, supported by intricately carved teak pillars. Once used only by nobles and for sacred rituals, the joglo structure symbolizes balance, harmony, and reverence.

Today, this open-air joglo serves as the main living area, a space to lounge, dine, or simply take in the sights and sounds of the villa. Look up and you’ll see the stunning tumpang sari — a rare, layered beam ceiling that once marked the most sacred part of Javanese homes.

Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning light or sharing a quiet evening under the stars, the joglo adds a profound sense of elegance, soul, and cultural richness to your stay.

Guest access
Tucked down a leafy path in a quiet Balinese village, the villa is peaceful yet just minutes from Ubud’s best spots. The path is rustic with some stairs, so please watch your step. Scooter rental is nearby, and motorbike parking is just a minute away.
