ArtHaus is colorful, bright and open and full of interesting art and tidbits from our own travels. It is a place of creativity.

Located in a town of 900, mainstreet is within walking distance. The MN River, behind us provides lovely walking and lots of nature sounds at night!

Guests have your own bathroom which is right across the hall from the bedroom. The bedroom is simple, with a closet. Sheets and towels are provided. The bed is a queen mattress and is comfortable.

Price includes %7 tax.

The space

Located three blocks from main street, it also is right on the edge of town with lots of land and open space around.
Parking is easy, on the street or in the driveway.
It is safe here.
There is a resident cat, Spanky, who has recently joined us. She is not allowed in the guest bedroom.

Guest access

Guests may use the kitchen, stove, refrigerator and purified water. Washer and dryer are available for reasonable usage and with permission. We are conservative with water and electricity, so we like to do laundry when it can be hung on the line and only use dryer in winter or inclement weather. We hope you agree with our lifestyle.

Interaction with guests

We work from home most of the time. Guests can expect some interaction.

Other things to note

We keep the house cool at night in winter. We use the A/C when necessary though we cool the house at night with a whole-house fan and close it up during the day.

Teresa's artsy place is a great, quite, little place to spend a few nights. Her friendly, open attitude was very welcoming. Her cat is also a friendly little cutey! Very lovable.

Teresa was helpful and easy to communicate with. We were in Henderson to do the Kerfoot Canopy Tours, and she was able to suggest several other activities that we might do prior to the tour. The stay was comfortable and I would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

Teresa is a quiet, yet outspoken person, which I admire. Her "earthy" ways are very unique to her sense of style and everyday living. She provided a very relaxed & pleasant atmosphere for my chaotic world and I humbly thank her for her hospitality.

Located just under an hour from downtown Minneapolis, this is a beautiful area of the world in the Minnesota River Valley, which is just behind our house.

As the host, I am an artist and documentary filmmaker. My community-based creative and social justice work is focused on climate change.

I grew up on a farm, am a gardener, and a foodie. I am interested in the intersections of how we treat our bodies, each other and the planet.

Our home is in a small rural community that has a vibrant spirit and is a staunch defender of nature.

We have traveled to China, New Zealand, most of Europe, North America and lived in Cuba for a short time. ArtHaus reflects some of the creative spirit of the places visited and/or lived.

We love to learn from others and though are new to this area, we can share our knowledge of local places and events.
