"The Studio" is situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region with wineries and concert venues just minutes away.
Perfect for a romantic getaway or to simply escape the hustle and bustle.
There are many beautiful walks and sights to see right on your door step including wonderful wild life. The Studio" is one of two cottages on the property. If we are already booked and you would love to stay please look up "Amelies On Pokolbin Mountain" also listed on Air BnB.

The space
The building was built in the 1990’s from salvaged and recycled materials, and was used as an artist’s studio, and shop space for our family lavender farm. After the lavender farm shut down the building was used only as an artist’s studio. Following this The Studio became a gift shop then returned to an artist’s studio yet again. We really wanted to share this space and stunning views with others so this led us to opening The Studio Accommodation.
The Studio is set on historic Myrtledale which has being in the family since 1880, with other houses on the property being Grandfather, parents, Aunts and Uncles and our own.

Other things to note
As The Studio is located on a working farm we have an array of different animals including dogs, cattle and horses.
You may see the dogs throughout your visit however they are friendly and will leave when told.
Due to this our property has a strict no pets policy (please do not ask to bring pets along).

Please also note that our surroundings change with the seasons and rain fall so may vary from the pictures. The lavender is a French variety and blooms from March to end September and is cut back in October. Due to rain water being our only water source the garden also varies with the amount of rainfall.
