Are you looking for a beach getaway but want to maintain social distancing? Sandy Toes Retreat offers contactless checkin and access. You can enjoy beaches, wildlife, bushwalks and fresh open spaces with the confidence of a thoroughly cleaned residence in a private and secluded location. Sandy Toes Retreat is situated on 5 hectares of natural bushland 3 km from South West Rocks. The well-appointed residence is spacious with a private pool, covered bbq area and open natural bushland.

The space
"Yarra" is a two bedroom residence at Sandy Toes Retreat. This large space includes an extra large living are with an extra large couch, a dining table seating 6 comfortably, a large bathroom with a washing machine, dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the other bedroom has 2 double beds. 6 people maximum (maximum 4 adults) will be very comfortable in this space. There is also a private outdoor dining area looking over the huge 90,000L salt water swimming pool - for your use. Also on the property is a BBQ area. It too has ample covered seating, a large new Webber BBQ, small kitchen and bathroom facilities. It has spectacular sweeping views of Trial Bay and South West Rocks.
All linen including sheets, towels and pool towels are included. Tea and coffee and kitchen basics (salt pepper oil etc) are also provided. There is ample parking for cars and boats and a secure pin-code access gate upon entry to the property.

Whale Watching
Peak whale watching season is June through to October when the migrating whales stop to enjoy the warm waters of Trial Bay and Smoky Cape. The Hi Spy viewing machine at the Entertainment Area is the perfect location to see the whales breaching in Trial Bay. Alternatively, head up to Smoky Cape Lighthouse for a 180 degree panoramic views across the ocean.

There are several quality restaurants with a choice of fresh local seafood, chinese, italian, as well as a variety of take-away options.
 
Nature Walks and Exploration
Don't forget your walking shoes! Arakoon offers a range of lovely bush and seaside walks to suit all levels of fitness. There are bike tracks throughout the area or you may prefer to take a 4WD trip to explore Smoky or Gap Beach. A visit to historic Trial Bay Gaol, situated in the Arakoon State Recreation Area is a must! The Country Club offers a range of sporting and entertainment facilities including a golf course, tennis, a swimming pool and lawn bowls, or catch a local band out at the Riverside Tavern.
