If you like animals this is the place for you. The house is surrounded by hills and lots of land, home to dogs, horses and cats. Ange and Steve were very welcoming and made sure we had a great stay. The room is a decent size with a comfortable bed with heated mattress if you need it. You have access to your own bathroom and kitchen too which was really useful. It's a short drive to Malborough sounds where we spent a day fishing and Steve even battered the fish we caught that day! A very enjoyable stay.

Ange, already missing you, your super friendly dogs & cats, cute little farm sheepies and all the farm animals! You are an amazing host and we had the most wonderful time ever! Thank you for showing us around your awesome farm and giving the opportunity to experience something exquisite! Unforgettable moment! Wish we had longer time there and learn more about farming. Your home is not only beautiful(Needless to say clean and great amenities), but comes with a great package of the host - warm, friendly n giving. Felt your passion about farming n love to animals! Would definitely come back again to molest your baby lamb!! Also, great location for winery! Peaceful & quiet environment. Beautiful scenery. People who likes farming n has love for animals, this is the place to be. Awesome place to relax your mind. Also, if you're into mussels, drive down 30 mins and you will find the most yummy mussels in town at Havelock "The Mussels Pot". Probably the best in South Island for taste n price! Don't miss it!

Anges Place is a short drive away from Picton - so perfect for people who want to have a one night sleep over after or before taking the ferry. Unfortunately it was a little bit noisy as the walls are very thin. But besides that it was a good stay and we had a good rest.
