It's almost imposable to express my surprise that such a tranquil haven existed so close to Noosa or my immense delight with the location, wonderful community and warmth of our host.

We had a lovely time at Julie's place. It's very roomy, with a huge screened area which is great to keep out the evening bugs. The kitchen is in the screened area, which I was worried would be too cold at night, but it was fine, even in July. We wanted a quiet break away to just read and do not much and that's exactly what we got. There were some DVDs and books to pass the time too. Julie had left us some basics in the pantry like cereal, tea, coffee, oil, sauce, etc, as well as milk and butter in the fridge and a fruit bowl - wow, thank you Julie! She even let me use her washing machine - very kind. The chairs in the lounge room weren't all that comfy, but Julie arranged for another lounge and it was great. The bed was quite comfy, although fairly firm and without a pillow top or mattress protector. We slept well. There are no curtains or blinds on the windows, so I was worried the morning light would wake us up, but it wasn't too bad. Tewantin is about 20 minutes drive away and we went there a few times for meals and groceries. The $10 sunset cruise from Noosaville is a bargain! We would happily go back to Julie's and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet break.

Julie's place is in an absolutely superb location. It is excellent value for money and a perfect spot for the small family including fury friends. The apartment is entirely separate with good privacy and all you need to enjoy Boreen Point at its best. We had a wonderful time.

WOW are the first words to describe this place! Julie is a lovely friendly host and goes out of her way to help you. The place is a hidden gem and has a great relaxing feel to the place. Everything you need and more for a lovely relaxing stay. Walking distance to everything and some great fishing places and a great Coffee shop around the corner. It was great having the place fully screen so no unwanted guest on dusk. Thanks Julie love your place and certainly will be back.

Now my business is in the tourist industry. I have a small Guesthouse on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.I lived in Thailand for 3 years in 1989 to 1992 and had a small Guesthouse on Phuket Island on the Beach at Hatt Surin. I helped set up The Gibbon Foundation to help protect the Gibbons from Tourism in the Bars of Patong. Now they have a refuge at the Bang Pae National Park, and is still is my passion is to stop  manufacture of plastic bags, as I saw the mass use of them in Asia and they are destroying the natural habit.. especially in Asia.
